Professor Ge Gao holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Applied Mechanics from McGill University, where he also earned a master’s degree in the same field. He worked as an Assistant Researcher at McGill University from June to November 2020 and served as a Teaching Assistant from 2015 to 2020. Ge Gao joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020, first as an Assistant Professor, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2024. He supervises both master’s and PhD students, with research interests in civil engineering and applied mechanics.
