SJTU-Warwick Joint PhD Programme in GlobeMind AI Goup Now Open for Applications.

The Shanghai Jiao Tong University-University of Warwick Joint PhD Program has officially launched, offering an excellent opportunity for high-quality research collaboration between faculty and students of both institutions. This program prioritizes students supported by the joint seed fund projects and fosters the development of collaborative research initiatives. Upon successful completion, students will receive a jointly conferred PhD degree from both universities, requiring only one dissertation defense. Additionally, tuition fees at the University of Warwick will be waived, and students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University may apply for CSC scholarships. The program encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Low Carbon, based on the subject areas available at the partner university.

Warwick A*STAR Research Attachment Programme (ARAP)

The Warwick - ASTAR Research Attachment Programme offers fully funded 4 year PhD studentships in Interdisciplinary Research, with students spending 2 years at Warwick and 2 years in Singapore at an ASTAR institute.

How it works Students are jointly supervised by a Warwick and an A*STAR supervisor. Pairs of supervisors in Warwick and Singapore propose joint projects with the experimental work divided between the student’s time in their Warwick lab and their Singapore lab. Prospective students are encouraged to approach prospective supervisors to discuss projects.

How to apply The deadline for applications for 2024/25 is 12 April 2024. Please send a CV, covering letter, personal statement and two reference letters to arap@warwick.ac.uk. Interviews will likely take place by the end of April.

EIT-Warwick Joint PhD Programme in GlobeMind AI Goup Now Open for Applications.

To leverage the strengths and characteristics of both institutions and jointly cultivate top-tier talent in technological innovation, Ningbo Dongfang University of Technology (provisional name) and the University of Warwick will launch a joint doctoral program starting in 2024, with global recruitment.

Doctoral students admitted to this program will be registered at the University of Warwick and jointly supervised by both institutions. Upon fulfilling the academic and research requirements specified in the curriculum and successfully defending their dissertation, students will be awarded a doctoral degree from the University of Warwick and a certificate of academic completion from Ningbo Dongfang University of Technology (provisional name).

The program duration is four years, with students spending the 1st and 4th years at the University of Warwick and the 2nd and 3rd years at Ningbo Dongfang University of Technology for research.

The Monash Warwick Alliance Joint PhD is part of our commitment to developing a successor generation of internationally experienced young researchers. For joint-research teams the contribution of outstanding, highly mobile PhD candidates brings additional capacity to support research collaboration. Alliance Joint PhD candidates, along with post-doctoral researchers, have a unique opportunity to play a key role in the collaboration between teams on opposite sides of the world.

The Alliance Joint PhD enables you to study at two innovative and internationally renowned institutions. You will spend a minimum of one year at Warwick and a minimum of one year at any of Monash’s Australian campuses. Travel to the other institution usually occurs in the second year.

Guided by a supervisor at each institution, you will be able to carry out work of the highest calibre, in the company of an elite group of academics and postgraduate researchers.
